Triple murder in Amiens: a call for witnesses to find an Uber Eats delivery man

A call for witnesses was launched after the triple homicide which took place in Amiens, in the Somme, last week.

A homicide investigation had been opened by the Amiens prosecutor’s office after the discovery of the bodies of two women aged 26 and 25 and a 3-year-old boy. The judicial police are looking for an UberEats delivery man who dropped off a meal on Tuesday April 12, three days before the macabre discovery, at the victims’ home, reports France Bleu Picardie.

This witness could allow the investigators to establish “the chronology of the facts and the course of the days which preceded the discovery of the bodies”, according to a press release sent by the prosecution to the Courrier Picard. This order for an amount of 43.50 euros was made with the bank card of one of the victims. The delivery person has not yet been identified. He is “likely to have information important to the investigation”.

Main suspect hospitalized

The alleged murderer, the spouse of one of the victims and father of the child killed, has not yet been able to be questioned by the police. The 49-year-old man was the victim of a road accident on Thursday April 14, the day before the discovery of the bodies. Still hospitalized, “his condition does not yet allow him to hear the facts”. According to the first elements, the man would have tried to end his life before the accident, then to voluntarily hit a truck.

A white march is organized this Saturday, April 23 in memory of the victims. Anyone who has information to communicate is asked to contact the judicial police at 03.20.30.37.25.
