We didn’t expect to hear about tron during the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase, and yet, a game from the license was confirmed at the opening of the event. It is TRON: Identitya visual novel developped by Bithell Games (Thomas Was Alone, John Wick Hex).
This narrative adventure will take us to a new Gate abandoned by its creator, and which evolved without the intervention of theUser, when an unprecedented crime has just been committed. Some Querya detective program, must investigate the theft of mysterious data, in a world with unstable foundations and filled with secrets and suspects. Our choices will influence how the story unfolds, the ending, and our relationships with certain characters, as we must reveal lost memories in this digital world.
The illustrations that serve as the setting for the action will be done by hand, as evidenced by the first trailer and the first burst of images. The project doesn’t yet have a release date or home platform, but it’s at least confirmed on PC via Steam.
