It was “a memorable day” for the British royals and, first and foremost, of course, for Princess Kate (42), her husband Prince William (41) and their children Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (9) and Prince Louis (6). For the first time since announcing her cancer in March, Kate appeared in public again and made a perfect royal appearance at “Trooping the Colour”. The family then drew a conclusion via Instagram on Saturday evening. Some pictures of the family during the military parade in honour of King Charles III (75) were captioned: “A memorable day at the parade for the King’s birthday. […] Thank you for making this day an unforgettable experience.”

A few hours earlier, two posts were published on Instagram, showing numerous video clips from “Trooping the Colour” showing a smiling Kate and a happy family. Only on Friday evening did Princess Kate publicly announceto take part in the parade. The wife of the British heir to the throne is currently continuing her cancer treatment and is currently receiving chemotherapy. “I am making good progress, but as anyone who undergoes chemotherapy knows, there are good days and bad days. On those days you feel weak and tired and you need to let your body recover. But on good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling good,” Princess Kate wrote about her return.

Princess Kate is undergoing “preventive chemotherapy”

Kate announced in March that she has cancer and is undergoing “preventive chemotherapy”. Since then, she has not attended any official appointments. For several weeks, there has been speculation that Kate might take part in “Trooping the Colour”.
