Released in cinemas in 2004, the film Troy, worn by Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, Orlando Bloom, Diane Kruger, Brian Cox, Sean Bean and Peter O’Toolewill be rebroadcast on Sunday July 10, 2022, from 11:05 p.m. on the channel TF1 film series. Directed by Wolfgang Petersen, this feature film takes place around the year 1250 BC. Six months of physical preparation were necessary so that the actor gains weight and becomes as agile and fast as the character of Achilles. The British officer Richard Smedley, technical adviser on the film, and his team were also in charge of train a thousand extras in armed struggle including many athletes. Eric Bana, who lends his features to the character of Hector, for his part had to learn to ride a horse. For the record, Brad Pitt was injured during a fight scene at the heel.
