Trump’s competitor reveals radical views on Ukraine

The superpowers Russia and China are moving closer together as a result of the Ukraine war – a thorn in the side of Republican politician Vivek Ramaswamy. In order to strengthen the US position, he would sacrifice Ukraine if he made it to the presidency.
Vivek Ramaswamy wants to run as the Republican presidential candidate in the US, and in polls he ranks in the top 3 among Republican supporters. If elected president, he has now promised to recognize Russia’s occupation of Ukraine and block Kiev’s path to NATO .
“As President of the United States, I will respect and revive Nixon’s legacy by rejecting the bloodthirsty twaddle of the useful idiots preaching an unwinnable war in Ukraine,” he said in the “American Conservative“. In order to put an end to the war, he wants to “accept Russian control over the occupied territories” and block Ukraine’s candidacy for NATO in exchange for Russia withdrawing from its military alliance with China.
One focus of Ramaswamy’s election campaign is the People’s Republic of China. “The longer the war in Ukraine goes on, the clearer it becomes that there is only one winner,” said Ramaswamy, before naming China. “I will end the sanctions and bring Russia back into the world market. In this way, I will make Russia a strategic impediment to China’s plans in East Asia.”
Ramaswamy, 38, would be the youngest Republican nominee in the United States presidential election. He previously worked in a successful company in the field of biotechnology. Ramaswamy sees himself as a libertarian, but at the same time actively opposes a range of progressive measures to combat discrimination.
Although Ramaswamy was not active in politics before the current election campaign, his approval rating is now 5 to 6 percent and he is regularly present in the media. In the first and so far last debate of the Republican candidates, most listeners preferred Ramaswamy over Trump’s most likely rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
