The fourth season of “Trying” starts on May 22, 2024 on Apple TV+.

Most recently, Jason and Nikki really had to prove themselves as parents in “Trying” because they now have adopted children at home. As luck would have it, the two of them, along with their siblings Princess and Tyler, even have two children. Of course, the (new) parents face a double load of challenges.
Most recently, the couple finally got married in order to offer their children an even safer home. Her problem with her rental apartment also seems to have finally been resolved. Freddy bought the building and lets the family continue to live there. Everything seems perfect at the end of season 3. But season 4 will certainly still have some challenges for the family.

Trying Season 4: Cast and Production
We expect both Esther Smith and Rafe Spall to return for Trying Season 4 in their roles as Nikki and Jason.
The third season cast also included Eden Togwell as Princess, Mickey McAnulty as Tyler, Oliver Chris as Freddy, Sian Brooke as Karen, Darren Boyd as Scott and Robyn Cara as Jen. Unless there are further changes here, we can assume that these actors and actresses will also return in season 4.
