No more trial offer until further notice
If you go to the page to subscribe to the service, you will notice that there is no longer a one-euro offer to try it. Only the PC and Xbox offers are offered at 10 euros per month and the Ultimate at 13 euros per month.
Microsoft has commented on the situation to Windows Central : “We have ended our introductory offer for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass and are evaluating different marketing promotions for new members in the future. »
If we can curse the end of an era, which made it possible to test a title for a month for only one euro, this change remains completely understandable. After all, the PS Plus, its main competitor, does not include such a generous trial offer. In addition, the Game Pass is preparing to welcome many highly anticipated AAA games, such as Starfield or even part of the Activision-Blizzard-King catalog, if the takeover comes to be validated.
If you still want to try the Game Pass cheaply, the trick that allows you to subscribe for a year for the price of a game is still relevant.
