Triple winner of the French Open, the Polish Iga Swiatek will face a former world number 1, the Japanese Naomi Osaka. The Tunisian Ons Jabeur (seeded no 8) will play against the Colombian Camila Osorio and the American Coco Gauff (no 3) against the Slovenian Tamara Zidansek. In the men’s draw, which has never seemed so open and indecisive in the last twenty years, several contenders for final victory are to be followed: Stéfanos Tsitsipas, Carlos Alcaraz and even Andrey Rublev.
Five French representatives are on the program this Wednesday. The only seed in the contingent, Caroline Garcia (no 21) will play against American Sofia Kenin. Chloé Paquet will not be favorite against the Czech Katerina Siniakova (no 32).
In the men’s draw, Alexandre Müller will cross paths with Italian Matteo Arnaldi at the start of the day and Corentin Moutet will cross paths with Alexander Shevchenko in the afternoon. Finally, the duel between the Italian Jannick Sinner and the Frenchman Richard Gasquet will have the honors of the night session on the center court.
