Tulle is finding its way into everyday fashion. But how can the fabric be styled not only in a fashionable but also practical way?

From vinyl to leather to tulle: In the fashion industry there are many materials that at first glance seem difficult to combine with everyday fashion. For example, the belief is still widespread that tulle should only be used for sweeping wedding or ball gowns. But this is not the case. Meanwhile, the exciting material is creeping more and more into everyday fashion. In order for it to result in a rounded look, these styling tips are crucial.

Let the it-piece speak for itself

Tulle is an eye-catcher in itself. It is therefore advantageous to build the look around the it-piece. Tulle skirts in midi or maxi lengths are particularly suitable for everyday use. They can be combined with boots and pullovers on cold days, but also shine with crop tops and sandals in summer. Model Olivia Palermo (34) shows how it is done. The sought-after fashionista stages her coral-colored tulle skirt as a fashion statement by combining it with simpler colors and materials.

Also in demand: tulle tops. Last summer, puffed sleeves made of the airy material were the big hit, now they are going a little further. Semi-transparent tulle shirts are either worn over plain-colored tops or over simple bustiers, as fashion blogger Tamu McPherson (44) presents one. For everyday life, it is of course advisable to choose a little more fabric so as not to let too much bare skin flash through. However, the brave can also fall back on lingerie.
