This Wednesday, October 19, viewers of Touche pas à mon poste experienced a totally unusual scene: the big boss of C8, Franck Appietto, invited himself to the set to celebrate the good audiences of the show. His entry parodied a 90s American rap music video.
Like every night of the week, Touche pas à mon poste revealed its share of surprises to its loyal viewers. But this Wednesday, October 19, a totally unusual scene has occurred : when no one expected it, the big boss of C8 landed to congratulate Cyril Hanouna and his columnists for the good audiences produced since the start of the season. So far, nothing out of the ordinary. Except that his entry on the set of TPMP was … rich in emotions.
Imagine: Franck Appietto was filmed from the street in a totally tuned car with hydraulic suspensions, surrounded by cheerleaders and several dancers. And as if that was not enough, once out of the car, viewers were able to see the big boss of the Canal+ group chain dressed in a long fur coat and a huge gold chain. With his hair slicked back, he looked like the cliché of a mobster straight out of a 90s rap clip.
The boss of C8 did not hesitate to pull out all the stops
In front of the amazed head of Cyril Hanouna and his columnists, the latter made a sensational entry on the Touche plateau not at my post. There followed five minutes of dancing and laughter between all the protagonists, happy with this totally off-ground moment. Accompanied by his two right arms, also high up in the C8 hierarchy, the channel boss then took the time to chat with Géraldine Maillet, Guillaume Genton, Benjamin Castaldi and company to congratulate them individually and hear from them. A moment that will inevitably remain engraved in the annals of this season of TPMP.
