TUNIS (Reuters) – Tunisian police on Friday arrested the critic of President Kais Saied, Ghazi Chaouachi, his son said.
According to Elyess Chaouachi, around twenty police officers searched the home of the former leader of the social-democratic party Attayar and arrested him.
The arrest is part of a crackdown on key opponents of Kais Saied over the past two weeks, including the detention of politicians, judges and media personalities.
