Ideal as a gift for you or your loved ones. The all-rounder from Indian healing practice detoxifies, helps against flatulence and bloating, stimulates your intestinal activity and additionally strengthens your immune system.

You need:

For 7 glasses of 100 ml:

  • 70 g fresh organic ginger
  • 200 g ground turmeric (preferably organic),
  • 2 heaped teaspoons of ground cinnamon
  • 2 lightly heaped teaspoons of ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 2 teaspoons of ground galangal (e.g. from arborvitae)
  • 2 tbsp safflower oil
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

That’s how it’s done:

  1. Rinse the ginger and grate finely, unpeeled. Bring the ginger and 700 ml water to the boil, then remove from the heat.
  2. Add turmeric, cinnamon, pepper, cardamom and galangal and stir well until a smooth paste is formed. Stir in safflower oil and maple syrup.
  3. Pour the paste into jars rinsed with hot water with screw caps, close tightly.
