Turtle Beach launches its Recon Air wireless microphone

A microphone is an essential element for playing online with friends and yet it is far too often underestimated. Turtle Beach thinks of you with its Recon Air.

Turtle Beach launches its Turtle Beach Recon Air wireless microphone/communicator. The Recon Air is designed for players who communicate orally with their teammates, for co-op/multiplayer play for example. But it is of course also visibly useful for audio and video conferencing.

Turtle Beach strives for quality

The Turtle Beach Recon Air’s microphone picks up in-game voice chat clearly and suppresses surrounding noise to minimize background noise. Its rechargeable battery also offers 10 hours of autonomy. Which may not seem like a lot. It is better to remember to recharge it after use so as not to be fooled. Note, however, that the USB-C cable offers 3 hours of additional autonomy in 15 minutes.

Hygiene and comfort

For the comfort of the user, the earloop is reversible and the interchangeable tips ensure comfort but above all good hygiene. The Turtle Beach device is compatible with PC, Xbox One, Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and 5. It can also be used on iOS and Android mobile devices via Bluetooth. The Recon Air is available on the price of 35 euros. Which is still very affordable.

Juergen Stark, President and CEO of Turtle Beach Corporation (which has nothing to do with Iron Man) says:

the Recon Air is an affordable headset with microphone designed for gaming as well as staying connected with friends, family or colleagues while ensuring excellent voice range.

It’s now my go-to headset for meetings on Teams and Zoom when I’m on the go.
