The official opening of the antechamber takes place on November 29. Carter issued numerous invitations. Representatives of the Antiquities Service are of course present, but also all the notables of Luxor, ministers and many archaeologists. Carter’s team is overwhelmed. You have to manage the visit to the antechamber so that the crowd doesn’t damage anything. Everyone is in awe of each object. It’s a triumph for Carter. For the very first time, a royal tomb has been discovered intact. It will provide hundreds of information to archaeologists on how the pharaohs were buried during the XVIIIe dynasty.
