Mysterious crime thriller with charm: The Alienist

The trailer is only available with subtitles, but the series is also available with German dubbing. 45 seconds are enough for the video.

New York in 1896: A series of murders shakes the city and the police are clueless. But things can’t go on like this. After all, children are the victims on the streets. The controversial psychiatrist Dr. Laszlo Kreizler (Daniel Brühl, 44), the clever Sarah Howard (Dakota Fanning, 28) and the journalist John Moore (Luke Evans, 43) then try to clear up the deaths. The problem: The police don’t take the psychological profile created by the group seriously. Catch a killer with that? Officials are not convinced of this. That’s why the self-appointed trio of investigators around Kreizler are trying to track down the murderer themselves. With “The Alienist” you can expect an atmospheric, dark and exciting story that leads into dangerous situations and captivates you on the screen. The series on Netflix has two seasons with a total of 18 episodes.

The astrological characteristics of the partners, which are explained in a wonderfully humorous way, guarantee laughter and viewers learn to love the characters very quickly. The Astrological Guide to Broken Hearts series has two seasons of six episodes each, available to stream on Netflix. One episode is about 30 minutes.
