The new title hero of “Der Alte” and the dancing celebrities from “Let’s Dance” have made the place on the quota throne among themselves.

Both ZDF and RTL can look back with great satisfaction on the viewing figures of last Friday evening (March 24). At prime time, the two programs “Let’s Dance” (RTL) and “Der Alte” (ZDF) aroused great interest among the target audience and the general public. The celebrity dance format was able to win the day with almost 0.96 million viewers between the ages of 14 and 49, which accounted for 18.0 percent of the market share the official AGF data.

In the meantime, “Der Alte” was clearly ahead of the audience as a whole. The premiere episode of actor Thomas Heinze (58) in the title role called “Fear of Relegation” gathered 6.35 million people in front of the screens, which corresponded to a market share of a whopping 23.4 percent. With this value, the new old secured the best result for the long-lasting format since May 2020.
