Ben intervenes just in time to prevent Lilly from piercing her own nose. Despite his efforts, he is unable to establish a real connection with his daughter. Only Franka manages to convince Lilly that she doesn’t need a piercing to be cool. While Simon considers booking himself into Amanda’s resort in Cape Verde for a year, David worries that Amanda may be dishonest. When he speaks directly to Simon and Amanda about it, Amanda uses David’s bipolar disorder against him. Who will Simon believe?
