Werner cannot initially dissuade André from accepting the more lucrative offer. While Charlotte and Friedrich celebrate their victory, Werner uses his new office to pull André back on his side and first plays the good loser for him. When Brenda helps Felix out of trouble in front of a W&L customer, the two approach each other amicably. Only when Brenda tries to kiss Felix does he understand that he sent her the wrong signals.
