Tatjana and Mona are perplexed: Paul Tyler is Thomas' half-brother! For over 20 years, the Jansens have repressed Paul's existence as a "misstep", while Paul viewed them as a family that never wanted him. Britta ended the affair with Hendrik and spontaneously went on vacation. Hendrik is rejected on the phone.

Rosalie neglects her relationship with Michael and keeps relocating him because she has a lot on her mind due to the election campaign. To make amends, she prepares a romantic surprise for him. When Max offers Shirin to move into the shared apartment, she hesitates: She doesn't want to move in with Florian without Maja's consent. Surprisingly, Maja doesn't mind.

While Sina searches for a reason for the ineffectiveness of her pill, Bambi suspects that Luke could be behind it. Will he manage to expose Luke's plan? While preparing to say goodbye to Saskia, Vivien realizes how much she misses the physical closeness and familiarity with Tobias. So she decides to banish Sebastian from her life for good and to get closer to Tobias again.

Georg confronts Jenny with a rather difficult decision: To save the hospital, she would have to take his side. Christoph and Finn discover another way of convincing the ethics committee that their drug study deserves a continuation.

Maren regrets not being able to pick up Katrin and hopes to meet her at home later. When Katrin learns of Maren's injury, she wants to help her friend. She experiences a devastating surprise in the hospital. Erik and Toni try to downplay their feelings for each other. But while Erik distracts himself and concentrates on his work, Toni lets himself be carried away into an embarrassing action.
