TV tip for bargain hunters: RTL shows how you can save money


It feels like everything is getting more expensive, inflation will take care of the rest: RTL has announced its own savings day so that bargain hunters can continue to look after their wallets. All day long on May 12, there will be tips on how to spend less money in tough times.

Energy prices are exploding, things are getting more expensive at the supermarket checkout and inflation is reaching levels unknown in Germany for decades. Reason enough for RTL to declare its own savings day. On May 12, there will be broadcasts spread throughout the day that will focus on tips and tricks on all aspects of saving money.

According to the broadcaster’s announcement, various news and magazine programs will deal with the topic of advertising brochures, among other things. Explain what consumers should look out for here and where only supposed bargains are lurking RTL Aktuell and the night journal. In the “Brochure Check” consumer expert Ron Perduss presents current products that can be purchased at a reasonable price. In the mornings and at noon, RTL am Spartag also deals with the topic of fashion.

RTL would also like to show tips and tricks about saving in printed form. In the Stern magazine, whose publishing house Gruner + Jahr belongs to RTL Germany, on May 12th it’s all about Extra section on the subject of saving money. The focus here will be on energy prices.
