In “Batman v Superman” (ProSieben) the two heroes fight a battle of the giants. The “Drei von der Müllabfuhr” (Das Erste) meet a rental shark and the “Alte” (ZDF) investigates a double murder.

8:15 p.m., ProSieben, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Fantasyaction

Batman (Ben Affleck) alias Bruce Wayne has to stand by and watch as Superman (Henry Cavill) ravages the whole of Metropolis in a duel against Zod and buries its inhabitants under the rubble. Driven by anger and pain, Batman develops a plan to destroy the godlike alien, cold in his eyes. Little does he suspect that he is just a puppet of the insane tech billionaire Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), who tries to play the superheroes off against each other.

8:15 p.m., The First, The Three From Garbage Collection: Operation Rental Shark, Comedy

A wild pile of junk on the sidewalk and a condescending house owner – “Captain” Werner Träsch (Uwe Ochsenknecht) and his colleagues have little understanding for either. When the angry businessman Waselitzki (Rainer Reiners) shows them a large graffiti on a house front that makes him look ridiculous as an unscrupulous frog prince with a mustache, it dawns on the garbage collectors how crooked the house blessing hangs. They soon learn that Waselitzki is pulling out all the stops to “de-rent” apartments and then re-rent them at exorbitant prices.

During their evening, Voss (Jan-Gregor Kremp) and Dr. Sommerfeld (Christina Rainer) was called to a university laboratory for an alleged double murder of a renowned professor and her colleague. On site, the investigators found that Julia Berking (Julia Koch), the employee, just got away with her life. As an important witness, she is taken to a hospital under police protection. Tom Kupfer (Ludwig Blochberger) interprets the first clues at the crime scene as a relationship act.

8:15 p.m., RTL two, 72 hours – The Next Three Days, Thriller

Lara Brennan (Elizabeth Banks) experiences a true nightmare: She is accused of the murder of her boss, arrested by the police and sentenced to 20 years in prison. Only her husband John (Russell Crowe) still believes in her innocence. But all attempts to rehabilitate his wife by legal means fail. However, John is determined to bring his wife back home and to live with their son. He seeks advice from the former escape king Damon Pennington (Liam Neeson) and meticulously prepares an attempt at liberation. In order for John’s daring plan to succeed, even Lara must not find out about it.

10:15 p.m., Das Erste, crime scene: The Palatinate from above, crime thriller

In the West Palatinate, a young, committed police officer is shot dead during the routine check of a truck driver. He was one of the employees of Stefan Tries, the head of the police station in Zarten. For Lena Odenthal (Ulrike Folkerts), who is entrusted with the case, Tries (Stefan Tries) is no stranger: almost 30 years earlier he stood by her when she had to solve a murder case in Zarten. With her colleague Johanna Stern (Lisa Bitter) Lena Odenthal returns to the place where she once met the aspiring police officer Stefan Tries.
