In "And who takes the dog?" (First) a couple gets therapy after 20 years of marriage. A registrar encounters her childhood sweetheart in "For Emma and Eternal" (Sat.1). Gerard Butler later has to prevent a nuclear war in "Hunter Killer" (ZDF).

The Hamburg aquarium director Georg Lehnert (Ulrich Tukur) and his wife Doris (Martina Gedeck) can be satisfied with themselves. But instead of redesigning their regained togetherness as a well-to-do best, the two are faced with the separation, because Georg has an affair. Doris is particularly hurt that he sees the much younger zoology doctoral student Laura (Lucie Heinze) as "the" woman of his life. In order to calm his conscience, Georg engages in separation therapy. Unfortunately, however, he lacks the necessary sensitivity and so the abandoned woman soon returns the favor with drastic measures.

As a registrar, Emma (Nadja Becker) designs the most beautiful day of life for couples in love. But there is a crisis in her own marriage, and couple therapy is only moderately successful. Then Emma meets her old crush Ben (Pasquale Aleardi) again – of all things when he orders the squad from her. Beautiful memories from the time spent pave their way, and Emma's emotional chaos breaks out.

Karl Holzer (Herbert Knaup) leads a beautiful and contemplative life as a hairdresser. He and his wife (Johanna Gastdorf) enjoy the little granddaughter Nora, the daughter of his son Thomas (Hanno Koffler). But when Thomas' childhood friend dies in unsettled circumstances, there is a rumor that the dead man was involved in serious crimes with a right-wing terrorist background. And soon Thomas Holzer is also suspected of having made common cause with his school friend. Karl Holzer has to ask himself how great his trust in his son is.

A woman's body is found in a hop field typical of Lake Constance – like a spider's web, the perpetrator draped Jutta Reike in the seven-meter-high scaffolding. And it's not the first case of this kind: Jutta Reike is apparently the fourth victim of a serial killer. However, the commissioners Micha Oberländer (Matthias Koeberlin) from Lindau and Hannah Zeiler (Nora Waldstätten) from Bregenz state that the crime does not correspond to the other pattern of the perpetrator.

Unknown attackers are sinking a US and a Russian submarine in the Arctic Ocean. The United States Department of Defense sends Captain Joe Glass (Gerard Butler) and his crew aboard the USS Arkansas submarine to find out what exactly happened in the depths of the Arctic Ocean. Rear Admiral John Fisk (Common) is briefly informed by analyst Jayne Norquist (Linda Cardellini) that suspicious activity has been observed at a Russian military base.
