“Two families on the palm” (Sat.1) are shipwrecked on a lonely island. In “Die Toten vom Bodensee” (ZDF) a mermaid is found dead. A BND agent gets into a conspiracy in “Saat des Terrors” (ONE).

The wealthy von Zangenheims and the working-class Kowalski family meet by chance in Mauritius when the shirt-sleeved Franky Kowalski (Dirk Borchardth) Renate von Zangenheim (Nadeshda Brennicke) rushes to help. As a thank you, the Snobs donated a boozy dinner followed by a boat tour – which ended in the shipwreck on a desert island. There the family fathers discover the alpha animals in themselves and compete in the fight for survival.
8:15 p.m., ZDF, The Dead from Lake Constance: The Mermaid, Crime
The commissioners Micha Oberländer (Matthias Koeberlin) from Lindau and Hannah Zeiler (Nora Waldstätten) from Bregenz are called to the shores of Lake Constance. A mermaid was found in the shallow water – slain. On the nearby open space, Zeiler and Oberländer immerse themselves in the world of young water sports enthusiasts. Among them Matteo Kern (Aaron Friesz), who escapes injured and under suspicion. Was he the culprit, or should he also fall victim to the mermaid’s murderer?

Plant a tree with a click of the mouse? That is the idea of Chris Kaiser. His company “B’n’Tree” is a platform that works with various travel booking portals and plants a tree for every booking. This helps offset emissions, creates work for local communities and creates a habitat for endangered animal species. But where do the animals come from? Reporter Michel Abdollahi goes in search of worldwide networks of the criminal monkey trade. In the Congolese rainforest, he looks for the last of the bonobos and receives an illegal offer on the edge of a market. Dealers want to sell him a young animal. Such business is almost commonplace here.

Pakistan, 2008. Jana Wagner (Christiane Paul) works for the BND in Islamabad. She is responsible for the fight against the drug deals with which the Islamist terrorist groups in Pakistan finance their activities. When she heard of an impending drug deal in Lahore, she contacted Colonel Baqri (Navid Negahban) of the ISI (Inter-Services-Intelligence, Pakistani military intelligence), who is officially on the side of the West in the fight against Al Qaeda and its business. But instead of arresting the drug couriers and turning them over to the western secret services, the ISI has them executed.
