Deadly family drama in "Steirerwut"

The investigators in "Steirerwut" (Das Erste) are concerned with the death of a mountain farmer with many enemies. Vin Diesel is looking for a super weapon in "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" (Sat.1). On ZDF, the "Bergdoktor" (ZDF) worries about a hepatitis patient.

8:15 p.m., Das Erste, Steirerwut, crime thriller

The Graz chief investigator Sascha Bergmann (Hary Prinz) is quite right that his partner Sandra Mohr (Miriam Stein) is reducing overtime. Because he prefers to take his colleague Eva Merz (Eva Herzig) from forensics with him to a routine case in the Eastern Styrian hill country so that he can spend a romantic weekend with her on site. The death of the mountain farmer Johann Hödlgruber (Helmut Berger) clearly seems to have been an intoxicated suicide. On closer inspection, however, Eva notices evidence that suggests a murder.

8:15 p.m., Sat.1, xXx: The return of Xander Cage, action

Agent Gibbons (Samuel L. Jackson) asks exiled Xander Cage (Vin Diesel) to go back to work as a secret agent for the US government. His mission: the recovery of Pandora's box, a destructive weapon that can be used to control military satellites. When the villain Xiang (Donnie Yen) and his henchmen cling to Xander's heels to get Pandora's box into their possession, Triple X and his team start a race against time.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, Der Bergdoktor: A thousand and one days, local melodrama

Martin Gruber's (Hans Sigl) personal life is far from relaxing. But the birth of his son is imminent, and he, Franziska (Simone Hanselmann) and Anne (Anne Meierling) finally have to find a compromise. But first he has to take care of a patient. Eva Winter (Lena Reinhold) seems to be enjoying her life to the fullest, but her symptoms are worrying. Martin tries to help her. Because what she seems to need most is a friend.

8:15 p.m., VOX, Avengers: Age of Ultron, superhero action

In a bitter fight, the Avengers, Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Captain America (Chris Evans) succeed in a hydra fortress in Eastern Europe to storm and recapture the scepter stolen from Loki (Tom Hiddleston). Using the power of the alien artifact, Tony Stark and Bruce Banner now want to create a kind of artificial intelligence called Ultron, which is supposed to secure world peace. But the supposed savior, who has found a shell in an overpowering robot, opposes his creator.

In the search for a missing girl, Lucy (Josephin Busch) is taken hostage. Mark (Bert Tischendorf) manages to free her, but not everything goes according to plan with the final rescue shot. Immediately after the mission, Mark went into hiding in Berlin. When the team finds drugs in his apartment, Lucy in particular gets into trouble. Because she has repeatedly covered Mark's misconduct – his excesses with alcohol, sex and drugs – in front of her colleagues.
