A newborn with blood poisoning causes excitement in the "Charité" (Das Erste). In "Willkommen bei den Hartmanns" (Sat.1), a middle-class family takes in an African refugee. "The diplomat" (3Sat) is the victim of a hostage-taking in Tunis.

8:15 p.m., Das Erste, Charité: Sepsis, historical drama series

Ingeborg Rapoport (Nina Kunzendorf) tries in vain to enter into dialogue with Prof. Kraatz (Uwe Ochsenknecht) when a newborn sepsis shows in a drastic way that the paths between gynecology and neonatology are too far apart. The newborn can be saved thanks to Rapoport's rapid intervention, but permanent brain damage cannot be ruled out.

8:15 p.m., Sat.1, Welcome to the Hartmanns, comedy

Pure chaos reigns supreme among the well-off Hartmanns. The children are already out of the house and are more or less climbing up the career ladder. Papa Richard (Heiner Lauterbach) holds on to his post as chief physician and fights resolutely against the signs of the times. And Mama Angelika (Senta Berger) wants to make herself useful after her retirement and drops a bomb at a family dinner: She wants to take in a refugee.

A security drill by the German embassy in Tunis is getting out of hand: suddenly the embassy staff is in the hands of brutal hostage-takers. Of all people, Esra (Halima Ilter), the right hand of Karla Lorenz (Natalia Wörner), smuggled in the command of the terrorist group unnoticed. Leader Raid (Navid Navid) is now calling for prisoners to be released and threatening executions. While Thomas Eick (Thomas Sarbacher), as special representative of the Foreign Office, is looking for solutions with the Tunisian government, Karla Lorenz tries to influence Esra.

Alcohol control on a country road in front of Schleswig: A car evades the control and runs over a police officer. Although his colleague shoots the car, he escapes. When Jana Winter (Natalia Wörner) finds the car, the passenger has disappeared and the driver is killed. The only indication of the dead person's identity leads Jana to her Danish colleague Malte (Magnus Krepper) in Copenhagen. The dead man is called Karsten Rogge, comes from Schleswig and is married to the Danish shipowner Pernille Rogge.
