Nicole Lehnert (Lilith Häßle) works for an escort service. It finances her law degree. At dinner she meets the much older Friedrich Benning (Nicki von Tempelhoff). Nicole likes the charming, successful banker who falls in love with her. Friedrich is divorced, his two children have long since left the house, and now he takes loving care of Nicole. He rents her an apartment and buys her fancy clothes. Friedrich doesn't understand that it will soon be too much for Nicole.
