Berlin, a day in winter. On the way to school, twelve-year-old Lisa is kidnapped by Bode (Alix Heyblom). Her parents (Harald Schrott and Ursina Lardi) received a ransom demand shortly afterwards: five million euros in bitcoins. For the experienced Commissioner Peter Nadler (Bjarne Mädel) there is soon no doubt that the perpetrator must come from the vicinity of the wealthy family. Time is of the essence, the girl has to be found quickly.

Stine Olson (Mersiha Husagic), who recently completed her architecture degree, keeps her head above water with small orders. Both want to sell a house in the land that they inherited from their father, and Stine offers her services as an architect. The new buyer wants to demolish the house. But the house holds a secret that will change everyone.
