The “Guardians of the Galaxy” (ProSieben) have to unravel the secret of Star-Lord’s origin in the second part. A murder leads detective “Wilsberg” (ZDF) on the trail of the garbage mafia. In “2012” (ZDFneo) a solar flare threatens the earth.

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” are given the task of protecting sacred energy cells on the home planet of the Sovereigns. Unnecessarily, Rocket steals some, triggering the unbridled wrath of the people. On their escape they get unexpected help.
8:15 p.m., ZDF, Wilsberg: The needle in the garbage heap, crime thriller
Elena Warnetzki (Anne Kanis) lives in an allotment garden colony, fishes food out of rubbish containers and leads a life without TV, computer, smartphone and above all: without money. Elena has a problem. Her ex-husband Thomas Warnetzki has disappeared. Wilsberg (Leonard Lansink) lets himself be tempted to swap his services for hers. Elena’s worst fears come true. Thomas, a garbage collector, is found dead in a garbage can. Who killed Warnetzki and wanted to dispose of him that way?

Jane (Meryl Streep) has a loving relationship with her adult children and even with her ex-husband Jake (Alec Baldwin) a friendly relationship has developed over the years of separation. While Jake has a new woman at his side in Agness, Jane has not yet found the man for life. But Adam (Steve Martin), a charming architect, has his eye on the likeable baker. During a family outing to the graduation party of their son, old feelings germinate between the ex-couple. While Jane initially dismisses a night together as a mistake, Jake is far more serious.

Mavis notices the unbalanced state of mind of her father, Count Dracula, and tries to bring him to other thoughts. Get out of the daily grind and head for adventure when she surprises him with a monster vacation on the cruise ship. But what starts well ends abruptly when the monster hunter Van Helsing appears once more.
8:15 p.m., ZDFneo, 2012, disaster spectacle
Geologist Adrian Helmsley (Chiwetel Ejiofor) learns from an acquaintance that a huge solar flare is imminent. The prognoses suggest that life on earth is doomed. After the US President (Danny Glover) has informed his colleagues around the world, a solution is being feverishly worked on. Alternatively, a rescue plan is being developed, although this is only intended to save a limited number of people from the disaster.
