In the middle of a rural idyll, suddenly shots are fired and a young mother dies. Her husband, the doctor André Collmann (David Rott), cannot explain the attack. Commissioner Mohn (Christina Hecke) and her colleague Breyer (Robin Sondermann) are facing an attack, the background of which is initially unclear. Shortly afterwards, Robert Haffner (Tristan Seith), a friend of Collmann's, is kidnapped and a video of the perpetrator is received by the police. He demands the reopening of the Nadine Abeck (Judith Neumann) case: "72 hours for the truth, otherwise I'll take the law into my own hands."
