The children's book author Clara (Karoline Herfurth) lost her fiancé in a tragic accident, and her life is no longer what it used to be. In order to find support, she continues to write him small notes as SMS. However, his cell phone number has been reassigned to Mark (Friedrich Mücke), who cannot avoid messages from strangers.

The Warner couple (Sebastian Schwarz and Jasmin Schwiers) want to sue Klemens Pilz (Jürgen Rißmann), the chairman of an environmental NGO, for corruption. He is said to have received bribes. A wind park is being planned right next to a nature reserve that will cost the lives of thousands of birds. And in the eyes of the Warners, Pilz is doing nothing. Nevada, 1957: University professor Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) and buddy Mac (Ray Winstone) are in big trouble. The duo have been kidnapped by Soviet agents led by the unscrupulous Irina Spalko (Cate Blanchett). Indy is assigned to identify a mysterious box in a remote warehouse. He narrowly escapes and shortly thereafter receives clues about a mysterious crystal skull that is said to be hidden in Peru.

A body of water appears in the Wilhelmshaven Bay. The dead man was an officer in the Dutch KFOR troops in Kosovo. Chief Detective Jan Holzer (Jan Josef Liefers) meets the sailing instructor Michael Kühnert (Peter Lohmeyer) and his deaf wife Elena (Sylvie Testud) during his investigation. Their way of communicating in sign language – also with daughter Sabin (Franziska Brandmeier) – arouses his interest. Although Kühnert openly admits that he used to be a KSK soldier in Kosovo and that he met Elena there, he claims that neither of them knew the dead man.
