When the HR manager of a Stuttgart company is found dead in the forest, the inspectors Thorsten Lannert (Richy Müller) and Sebastian Bootz (Felix Klare) begin their investigations in the company. They hear no special incidents – CEO Joachim Bässler (Stephan Schad) does not mention his conflict with former employee Oliver Manlik (Barnaby Metschurat). He was imprisoned for corruption in the United States for over three years as a pawn by the company. Now he's back in the country and wants his life back.

War is raging on the planet of the Autobots, which is why Optimus Prime sends the Transformer B-127 to Earth to open a new base. The fact that Christina's mother Katrin (Lina Wendel) is involved in the dispute doesn't make it any easier for Ella.

Peter Bretter (Jason Segel) is leaving after six years by his girlfriend, aspiring TV actress Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell). To get over the pain of separation, he decides to go on vacation to Hawaii by himself. He ends up in the same hotel as his ex-girlfriend, who is spending their first vacation there with her new lover, the eccentric rock star Aldous Snow (Russell Brand). Peter is devastated, but finds solace in the pretty hotel employee Rachel (Mila Kunis).

The shipwrecked literary critic Humphrey van Weyden (Stephen Campbell Moore) drifts half-dead on the high seas with a lifebuoy. The merciless "sea wolf" Captain Larsen (Sebastian Koch) fishes the young man out of the water and gives him care on his ship. It is only slowly that it dawns on van Weyden that the boat is like a prison for him and that his life here too is in great danger.
