The aspiring entrepreneur's son Malte Angersbach (Jan Niklas Berg) is found dead – shortly after his father announced that they want to take over a flourishing construction company. Coincidence? Patriarch Borris Angersbach (Klaus Zmorek) only came to the head of the company through his marriage to Luise Angersbach (Angela Roy). His stepson Kai (Golo Euler) distanced himself from the family at an early age and also fought the business of his hated stepfather professionally.
