Ilse DeLange was born in 1977 in Almelo (Netherlands). From a young age she played guitar and composed her own songs. The country musician made her international breakthrough with her debut album "World of Hurt" in 1998. In 2004 she was awarded the best Dutch singer. In 2008 DeLange released her fifth album "Incredible". In May 2014 she represents The Netherlands at The Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen with The Common Linnets. The band reached second place, their song came first in 14 countries.

Adas (Anna Fischer) father Peter Holländer (Rolf Kanies) suddenly stands at her door and asks for help. Reluctantly, Ada brings him to Romy (Christina Athenstädt), who is happy to meet Ada's family. The case is serious: Peter was reported for assault. Together with a bus driver colleague, he is said to have knocked down a passenger. The victim is a high school graduate who is now hospitalized with a head injury.
