In "Der Kommissar und die Wut" (ZDF), a kidnapping turns into a revenge drama. Johnny Depp is the eccentric Willy Wonka in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (Sat.1). In "Dead Man Working" (ONE) the suicide of a banker is a mystery.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, The Commissioner and Anger, Crime

19-year-old Tim Jatzkowski (Aaron Hilmer) is not coming home. First of all, there is nothing to worry about. But then his father, the luxury car dealer Heiner Jatzkowski (Benno Fürmann), receives a ransom demand. Martin Brühl (Roeland Wiesnekker) and his team meet a shocked mother and a rather shirt-sleeved father who says the police should do their job and find Tim. The commissioner wants to convince Jatzkowski to pay the ransom.

8:15 p.m., Sat.1, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, fantasy satire

The illustrious chocolate manufacturer Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp) is looking for a successor. In five chocolate bars he hides a ticket for a guided tour through his chocolate kingdom. Little Charlie (Freddie Highmore) is one of the winners. During the tour, the children experience all kinds of bizarre and exciting things. In the end, however, only one can become Wonka's successor.

8:15 p.m., ONE, Dead Man Working, Thriller

The investment banker Jochen Walther (Wolfram Koch) is at the height of his career at the "Bank of the Germans". Together with his assistant Tom Slezak (Benjamin Lillie), he has just arranged the deal of his life when he suddenly jumps from the roof of the bank headquarters in Frankfurt at the victory celebration for everyone. Was it suicide or even murder? While the board of directors rejects all guilt, the next day his widow (Jördis Triebel) raises serious allegations in a television interview: The bank is said to have driven her husband to his death. A bitter fight breaks out between the bank and the widow.

North of the Arctic Circle, the sun rarely sets in summer. The harsh conditions of the polar night are now a thing of the past and warm temperatures and endless light make nature explode after the snow melts. There is now food in abundance on land and in the sea. Nevertheless, animals and plants now face major challenges. Constant threats, hectic rush and stress dominate life in the food paradise. Deadly danger and life in abundance lie close together in the realm of the midnight sun.

10:15 p.m., ZDF, The Purple Rivers – The Secret of Blood, Thriller Series

Policewoman Camille (Erika Sainte) has to fight for her son's life. Léo (Audran Cattin) pretends to be the kidnapped scion of a wealthy family, unaware that this clan is pursuing dangerous plans. His new mother gives him mysterious drugs, and his brother watches the competitor with suspicion. And above all, they shield Léo from being attacked by the policewoman. With the help of her colleague Niémans, Camille can still prevent the worst.
