“The Determination – Insurgent”: Tris (Shailene Woodley), Four (Theo James, M.) and Caleb (Ansel Elgort) have to flee

In “The Determination – Insurgent” (RTLzwei), four young people fight for survival in a dystopian future. “The Public Prosecutor” (ZDF) uncovered a real estate scandal. In “Transformers 3” (ProSieben) the war between the Autobots and Decepticons flares up again.

After her parents are murdered and the unscrupulous Ken leader Jeanine Matthews (Kate Winslet) seizes power, Tris (Shailene Woodley) and her boyfriend Four (Theo James) are on the run. The city of Chicago is now cut off from the outside world and people have been divided into five groups according to their abilities: Candor (the bold ones), Altruan (the selfless), Ferox (the fearless), Ken (the scholars) and Amite (the peaceable) . Tris and Four do not belong to any of these groups and are viewed by Jeanine as dangerous enemies to be destroyed.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, The Public Prosecutor: Deadly Living, crime series

A real estate lawyer is found suffocated with a plastic bag. The grotesque image could be a message. Chief Public Prosecutor Bernd Reuther (Rainer Hunold) discovers a parallel to the newspaper article by a young journalist. As Reuther and the commissioners Klar (Fiona Coors) and Schubert (Simon Eckert) find out, the act is directly related to the murder of an old friend Reuther. All leads lead to the largest real estate project in the city. And: the murders were commissioned by a stranger. Reuther is clear: someone is cleaning up behind him and trying to cover up all traces.

8:15 p.m., ProSieben, Transformers 3, sci-fi action

Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) has already saved the world from the power-hungry Decepticons twice, but cannot find a job in the crisis economy. And that’s not his only problem: The Autobots under Sam’s friend Optimus Prime find out that a getaway ship from their lost home planet Cybertron crashed into the moon decades ago. It is annoying that the US government has so far withheld from them that a secret, dangerous technology was recovered during the moon landing by the Apollo missions.

Young entrepreneur Clay Beresford (Hayden Christensen) is undergoing a heart transplant. But something goes wrong with the anesthetic. Trapped in a nightmarish parallel world, the patient comes to a shocking realization.

8:15 p.m., 3Sat, Der Medicus, historical epic

The death of his mother, who is carried away by a mysterious illness, shakes the nine-year-old Rob. From now on his whole interest is in the art of healing. The quackery he learns from a traveling barber (Stellan Skarsgard) is not enough for him. Rob (Tom Payne) embarks on a long and arduous journey to distant Persia to learn the science of medicine from the famous doctor and scholar Ibn Sina (Ben Kingsley). His impetuous thirst for knowledge threatens to be his undoing.
