TV tips: This case for the "Friesland" team stinks to heaven

A dead man in a slurry tank is a case for the "Friesland" team (ZDF). In "Alice in Wonderland: Behind the Mirrors" (ProSieben) Alice has to save the mad hatter. In "Who knows sowas XXL" (Das Erste), prominent guessing teams play for victory.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, Friesland: Dirty deals, thriller

It stinks a lot in East Frisia. The hearse of Wolfgang Habedank (Holger Stockhaus) is showered with liquid manure, and his friend Holger Frerichs is found dead in a slurry tank. Commissioner Jan Brockhorst (Felix Vörtler) seizes the first opportunity to leave the muddy terrain. The patrolmen Henk Cassens (Maxim Mehmet) and Süher Özlügül (Sophie Dal) start the investigation, while the pharmacist Insa Scherzinger (Theresa Underberg) remains unaffected by the situation.

8:15 p.m., ProSieben, Alice in Wonderland: Behind the mirrors, fantasy fairy tales

When Alice (Mia Wasikowska) slips back into the realm of the Unterland through a mirror, she is faced with the task of saving her old friend, the mad hatter (Johnny Depp). To do this, time has to convince her – a male creature, half human, half o'clock – to be allowed to travel into the past before time runs out.

8:15 p.m., Das Erste, Who knows something like that XXL, knowledge quiz

In the extra-long primetime edition of "Who knows something?" it's going to be hot this time. And that is not only due to the prominent guests such as the actors Elyas M'Barek, Jürgen Vogel, Axel Prahl, Jan Josef Liefers, Anna Loos and pop star Vanessa Mai, but also to the spectacular experiments in the studio.

8:15 p.m., VOX, 47 Meters Down, diving horror

During a vacation in Mexico, the two sisters Lisa (Mandy Moore) and Kate (Claire Holt) are persuaded to go diving in a shark cage. But the spectacular underwater trip turns into the ultimate nightmare when the safety rope breaks and the cage with the two sisters rushes 47 meters down to the seabed. A dramatic race against time begins, as oxygen is scarce and the cage is surrounded by sharks.

8:15 p.m., Sat.1, (T) Raumschiff Surprise – Period 1, Comedy

The year is 2304: 250 years ago, the first humans settled Mars and are now returning to earth under the leadership of the dark ruler Rogul to occupy it. A catastrophe is imminent – if it weren't for the crew of the spaceship Surprise, who are deployed as rescue crew by Queen Metapha. But the team – Captain Kork (Christian Tramitz), Mr. Spuck (Michael "Bully" Herbig) and engineer Schrotty (Rick Kavanian) – is hardly interested in saving the earth.
