TV tips: Ulrich Matthes fights for his life in "Fremde Feind"

Arnold (Ulrich Matthes) and his wife Karen (Barbara Auer) are shocked when their son Chris (Samuel Schneider) tells them that he has committed to go abroad. The son's service in the war zone is the beginning of a grueling time for Arnold and Karen. Indeed, one day the parents receive the equally feared news that their son has died. Karen shatters at Chris's death. Arnold wants to leave everything behind and retires to a lonely mountain hut. But as soon as he arrives in the mountains, he is faced with an unknown enemy.

In his grief he meets a glass figure (Milan Peschel), who grants him three wishes. So Peter comes to bags full of guilders, dance skills and the most beautiful glassworks in the Black Forest. Foolish wishes, as the glass man thinks! And it's supposed to be right, because Peter's wealth is short-lived.

During the financial crisis, the righteous, young construction worker Dennis Nash (Andrew Garfield) loses his home in Florida: Real estate agent Rick Carver (Michael Shannon) carries out the eviction.
