8:15 p.m., Das Erste, veterinarian Dr. Mertens: Aiming high, family series
For two years now, Dr. Susanne Mertens (Elisabeth Lanz) and partner Dr. Christoph Lentz (Sven Martinek) happy together again and forge plans for the future. As soon as their adopted daughter Luisa (Lilly Wiedemann) is out of the house, they want to go to Borneo for six months. Until then, however, everyday life at Mertens will be as exciting as ever. Luisa is fighting with an animal welfare group against a new building project in the zoo and is experiencing a high phase of rebellious puberty. In the long term, a new project is planned in the zoo: "Fly with the Wild".

Nelson Müller reveals how good, fresh and healthy our cow's milk is. He is on the trail of an organic fraud and is doing the test himself: Does the star chef not tolerate lactose? Everything starts on a cow's udder. Nelson Müller milks his first liter of milk and realizes: In terms of taste, the raw product has little in common with what is bought in the store. Today, milk is first broken down into its individual parts, filtered, heated and then put back together again to fit perfectly. Can that still be called fresh milk?
8:15 p.m., 3sat, On behalf of my son, crime drama
Based on the true case of the "masked man", the film tells the story of Claus Jansen (Tobias Moretti), whose son Hannes disappears from boarding school overnight in 1992. A few weeks later, the boy is found murdered. When the police investigation fizzled out, the father began to investigate himself. Claus is pushing the question of his own guilt: If he hadn't put Hannes in boarding school back then, would his son still be alive today? But Claus also knows that if he doesn't end his obsessive hunt, he will lose himself and the love of his wife Heike and his younger son Sebastian.

A meteorite crashes to earth in the middle of the Arizona desert. The scientists Dr. Ira Kane (David Duchovny) and Harry Block (Orlando Jones) find out that an alien life form landed on earth with the rock. Before Ira and Harry can continue their research, the whole area is closed to the military. The researchers only manage to get back into the cave in which the meteorite lies with great difficulty. This is now populated by a multitude of voracious alien creatures that are about to reach the surface.
8:15 p.m., ZDFneo, The Dead from Lake Constance: Family Secret
Commissioner Micha Oberländer (Matthias Koeberlin) is just moving into the new joint office when he and his Austrian colleague Hanna Zeiler (Nora von Waldstätten) have to investigate indications of serious domestic violence. In the forester's house, a picture of horror presents itself: walls and floors are smeared with blood, forester Garchinger (Werner Asam) lies half-dead in his bedroom. He probably had a heated argument with the owner of an Austrian recycling company, who cannot be found.
