In 1969, the then 12-year-old factory owner's son, Alan Parrish, found the ancient board game "Jumanji" on a construction site, an ancient and dangerous game that unleashed the forces of the jungle that sought to rule the world. When Alan and his girlfriend Sarah throw the dice, Alan sets the fatal game in motion and is promptly drawn into the mysterious magical world of "Jumanji". According to the unwritten laws of the game, he only regains his freedom when someone rolls a 5 or an 8. 26 years later, the two orphans Judy and Peter find the game in the attic of the old Parrish house. The new name "Kupferkännchen" is supposed to stand for a less ambitious concept: home-style cooking for the bar guests. However, her new chef Sebastian Holtmann (Lucas Prisor) brings the highest culinary demands with him. He not only has a lot on the pan, but also appears extremely self-confident.

The death of a popular water saver confronts Chief Public Prosecutor Bernd Reuther (Rainer Hunold), Chief Commissioner Kerstin Klar (Fiona Coors) and Chief Commissioner Max Fischer (Max Hemmersdorfer) with an opaque web of lies. Frank Droste (Sebastian Schlemmer), emergency doctor and member of the water rescue team, is dragged dead from the Rhine. Weighted down with weight belts. All traces destroyed by the water – except for a noticeable head injury. Reuther realizes that this supposed hero did not have a clean slate.

Carly (Cameron Diaz) thinks she is in a happy relationship with Mark (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) – until she meets his wife Kate (Leslie Mann). As it turns out, the two are more than just the same man, which creates an extraordinary friendship. They quickly discover that their serious blower has a third lover (Kate Upton) who is brought on board without further ado. Soon the "Schadenfreundinnen" begin to forge plans for revenge.

Broomhilda, the wife of the slave Django (Jamie Foxx), was abducted by the Brittle brothers. One day Django is met by bounty hunter Dr. Schultz (Christoph Waltz) taken under his wing. He promises him freedom if he helps him find the gang – dead or alive. Django agrees, not realizing that there is a long road ahead of them full of lead and blood.
