Elton replaces sick Sebastian Pufpaff

A well-known ProSieben face stepped in for Sebastian Pufpaff, who was suffering from Corona, on “TV total” on Wednesday.
Due to a corona infection, the latest edition of “TV total” had to take place on Wednesday evening (January 19, 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben) without moderator Sebastian Pufpaff (45). But ProSieben quickly found a replacement: None other than Stefan Raab’s (55) former show intern Elton (50) took a seat behind “Uncle Puffi’s” desk. “I’m really excited, even though I’ve been here in the studio thousands of times,” the moderator said at the beginning of the show, visibly nervous.
Surprise guest at “Blamieren oder Kassen”
Elton’s racing pulse was not only noticeable because of his debut as a moderator. For the first time, the 50-year-old also appeared as a candidate in “Blamieren oder Kassieren”, the game in which he usually always asks the questions. But Kai Pflaume (54) took over that part on Wednesday evening – including Elton’s iconic red jacket. In the end, however, candidate Sascha was able to shine.
Positive network reactions
With his spontaneous appearance, Elton caused a mostly positive response online. Sports commentator Frank Buschmann (57) got really excited on Twitter: “No bratwurst for me today either, but fun with Elton on ‘TV total’. Compliments boy! And get well soon to Sebastian Pufpaff.”
Meanwhile, several users commented on Instagram a post from the official “TV total” account: “I’m going crazy, how awesome! Elton just moderates ‘TV total’! Already one of my all-time highlights of the show ever!”, wrote a user. Another user commented: “Please only Elton from now on!!!!! So great!!!!”
The next “TV total” edition will be broadcast next Wednesday (January 26) at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben. It is not yet known whether Pufpaff will then lead the show himself again.
