Three awards
In the Public Buildings category, the jury awarded the new town center of Arriach: a small local supplier, the municipal office and a pergola, designed by Hohengasser Wirnsberger Architects, carried out by the Kandussi carpentry. There is an award for the interior design for a former stable on the Flattnitz, which became an alpine hut. The art mill with wooden shingle facade in St. Margarethen in Lavanttal won in the category of art and special buildings. Artists Pepo Pichler and Anita Naz Mardikian are the builders who have commissioned Mack Architects, KPZT and Holzbau Gasser. Kelag sponsored the prize money: 2,500 for the timber construction award, 1,500 euros each for the three awards.
