The reason for the problems was a technical problem, the cause of which is still unclear.
Postfinance spokesman Rinaldo Tibolla told the Keystone-SDA news agency early in the evening that online banking had resumed. Twint spokesman Ettore Trento confirmed “a technical problem in some versions of the application” around noon.
