Despite everything, she has not had an easy journey, between harassment, stalking, and violent raids, Pokimane has experienced the hatred of some malicious users. Imane Anys, whose real name is, has experienced the evolution of Twitch towards measures aimed at protecting streamers from this type of behavior. In a recent video by Trash Tasteshe had the opportunity to talk in more detail about these changes visible on the platform.
“Twitch has changed a lot”
At least that’s what Pokimane says, which over the years has had the opportunity to observe many changes in user behavior. According to her, Twitch becomes “increasingly diverse”which means more and more streamers are considered at their fair value and that is fun.
The streamer says she has received many sexist messages in the past while playing League of Legends and is happy to see that this type of hateful behavior is becoming increasingly rare today. Despite everything, malicious people are still present and Pokimane continues to be confronted with sexist users.
Unacceptable behaviors
Several times, viewers have mistaken her for a cam-girl, only because she is a streamer. Behaviors, although unacceptable, are still present on Twitch. According to her, resenting the creators of hot tub or cam-girl type content is useless, you have to resent those who expect streamers to do the same.
On this beautiful message, Pokimane hopes that in a few years, streamers will no longer have to deal with sexist behavior, whatever it may be. As for the future of her channel, the influencer said she wanted to diversify, and produce content on networks like Instagram or TikTok.
