This is particularly the case of MinisterGold who, tired of streaming from home, decided to take on an almost impossible challenge: stream a horror game from one of the quietest places in the world… a municipal library.

It was on Resident Evil 7 that the streamer decided to perform his library stream. The atmosphere is totally horrifying with a lot of jumpscares at the rendezvous which are enough to make the players scream. Here is the main difficulty of this totally unusual challenge, MinisterGold must finish Capcom’s game, taking care not to let out any screams or startling noises, under penalty of being reprimanded by the staff of the municipal library.
On top of all that, the streamer explained to Dexerto that it was the first time he played a production of the license or even a horror game in general. Resident Evil 7 being described as one of the most terrifying projects in the entire video game industry, this is a good introduction.
How did he do it?
Here is a question that many users have asked themselves, the place offering with it many constraints. Would he have installed the game on one of the computers in the library? Did he connect a console to the screens? What about the setup?
The streamer simply took his steam deck on site, placing himself in a rather isolated place for the first few days to be sure not to disturb the people around him too much. After gaining confidence and realizing he wasn’t that loud, he sat down on a table in the middle of the main library hallway.
By whispering to his cat, he gradually progressed in his adventure to finally finish it after eight streams and 17 days in total. The staff of the place had to get used to seeing him come very regularly. In any case, challenge met for the streamer who (in the future) will undoubtedly surprise his community with other unusual challenges!
