Twitch plans to offer fixed income to streamers (under certain conditions)

Twitch has just launched a brand new program that will allow streamers on its platform earn a fixed income each month. This program is called AIP, for Ads Incentive Programliterally translated as advertising incentive program.

This AIP, launched on January 24 by Twitch, will guarantee a fixed income to the streamer, enough to allow some smaller streamers to be able to earn enough to meet the needs of their business. The income received will vary depending on the program chosen by the streamereach of them being under the same model, a certain amount of advertising time per hour as well as 40 hours of streaming per month, with 2 minutes of advertising per hour for the 1st model, 3 minutes for the second and 4 minutes for the last. The first program will ensure a fixed income of $500, the second will be at $800 and the last at $1000.

Here Twitch intends above all to bring a form of financial security for its users. Streamers’ earnings vary wildly depending on advertisers’ offers, it is therefore important in the eyes of Twitch to guarantee them a minimum of income. According to them, monthly income would be “predictable through ads, with no cap on earning potential.”

Depending on the platform, this would also be a great time saver for many content creatorswhich until now had to manage their own advertisements on the Ads Manager page on Twitch. “We want to liberate creators additional management responsibilities so you can concentrate about what you like to do and about your community” confides the structure.

Twitch is off to a good start this year to respond to all the problems that the platform is experiencing. For 2022, the giant of the streaming world is already aiming eliminate hate on its platformhe now intends to eliminate bad surprises at the end of the month for its creators.
