xQc, the famous Canadian streamer, recently confessed his number of bets and the total amount he would have spent in gambling. It’s over five figures.

Although online betting is highly criticized on Twitch, there is no doubt that the latter bring a certain package to the online betting site and to streamers by making the apology. Recently, Bloomberg published an article about the issue of gambling on Twitch. In response to this article, the Canadian streamer xQc revealed the astronomical sum he spent on the online betting site Stake since listing in April 2021.

In this clip, we can see that the Canadiens spent no less than $685 million on bets. So although a part of the sum was financed by the site and other sports betting sites in order to advertise gambling, xQc still made 656 376 bets and only win 63,057 for 583 405 of lost. Thus, the bettor only has 9.6% win rate on all of its bets.

The influencer admitted to being addicted to gambling. Many of his relatives then became so concerned that his father calls him in the middle of a stream to share his concerns about his addiction. Gambling addiction is a disease recognized by the World Health Organization. However, Twitch does not prohibit online gambling. Although the latter has prohibited content creators from sending their viewers to online betting sites, the problem is still present on the platform.
