A dad shared a sugar-sweet habit of his little daughter on the Internet – and to be honest, we should definitely do it!
Our brain is already very cleverly programmed: We mostly remember the beautiful things, while negative experiences are often less present in retrospectives. In the present, however, this game often works the other way around, absurdly. We are much more aware of what we are missing, where there is a pinch, what is not going the way we want and where we have disappointed ourselves again. Why?
Now, of all people, the smallest of our society could help us out of this spiral of thought. Because sometimes they have the best advice ready for us with their fresh outlook on the world. Gerry McBride had this experience and luckily did not want to withhold it from us.
On Twitter, the dad shared a habit his two-year-old daughter shared with the world. It's not only sweet as sugar, but actually pretty wise. But read for yourself:
"My little girl is 2 and whenever she's happy she just shouts 'HAPPY' there's nothing more honest in this world when she's just sitting there, playing with her toys or having a toast and suddenly yelling 'HAPPY' to let the universe know it's doing a good job. "
My little girl is 2 and whenever she's happy she will just shout out 'HAPPY', there is nothing purer in this world than when she's just sitting playing with toys or eating toast and just yells out 'HAPPY' to let the universe know it's doing a good job

Let's shout more happiness to the world
Wow! That's really pretty cute, isn't it? In fact, we should even cut a slice of it. Well, if we suddenly start shouting "HAPPY" in the supermarket when our favorite chocolate is found or in the office after work is done, it should cause a little irritation.
But why not? We can say the little cheer to ourselves – or always send it to our partner or best friend when we feel it. We should also brighten the mood of others, after all, everyone wishes that the people they love are happy.
So: let's shout "HAPPY" out into the world more often. Just like that, without any great reasons, because we feel it in the moment. Because we are far too seldom aware of how well we are actually doing!
