Twitter is now extending the time for users to correct their tweets to one hour.

But this editing option is still and always paying.

One hour to fix your mistakes on Twitter

At the end of last year, in conjunction with the launch of its Twitter Blue offer, the social network supported by Elon Musk allowed (finally!) its users to correct a tweet. The network then gave 30 minutes to the authors to come and correct an unfortunate mistake or modify a statement, the platform clearly indicating to readers that the original tweet had been modified.

Today, Twitter announces that the time given to users to correct a tweet is doubled from 30 minutes to one hour. According to Patrick Traughber, in charge (among other things) of Twitter Blue, it is ” by popular demand that this new option has been developed.

Twitter Blue, again and again

Obviously, and you can imagine it, this function of editing tweets is still and always linked to the Twitter Blue subscription. Thus, only subscribers to the service (whose price including tax in France is 9.60 euros per month, excluding additional bank charges) have the possibility of editing their messages.

Remember that Twitter Blue also allows you to take advantage of official certification, but also to write tweets of up to 4,000 characters. Eventually, the subscription should also allow subscribers to be less subject to the (numerous) advertisements that pepper the network… but also to earn some money.

A few days ago, the Fidelity fund, a shareholder in the Twitter network, estimated that the latter was now worth only $15 billion. A blow for Elon Musk, who acquired the network last year for 44 billion dollars…
