We know more about the new certification badges that are coming to Twitter.

And it risks becoming a hell of a mess from December 2…

The Twitter certification system will take on colors

For a few weeks now, Twitter has suspended the deployment of Twitter Blue, which allowed anyone to obtain the precious certification. The latter has led to various abuses, but Elon Musk assures that the new version, which will arrive in a few days, will be free from the slightest problem.

The CEO. from Twitter has thus announced that the certifications will be back on the network at the blue bird, if all goes well, on Friday, December 2. And according to what he recently said, Twitter will indeed differentiate certification badges according to users.

Gold, gray and blue certification badges

In a few days, the Twitter platform will therefore welcome new certification badges. Companies will be entitled to a gold colored badge, government organizations will have a gray badge, and individuals will retain the current blue badge.

Elon Musk also wanted to confirm that this blue badge concerns all users, regardless of whether they are famous or not. In other words, Twitter Blue should allow any account to benefit from the blue badge again and again, for $8 per month.

However, the CEO. promises that verified accounts will now undergo manual authentication before the badge is affixed. A process ” painful, but necessary “, according to him. Many people believe that a clear differentiation between verified accounts and Twitter Blue accounts is essential, but this still does not seem to be on the agenda.

Appointment is made for December 2 to discover this “new” Twitter and its anthology of new certifications.
