Two Al Jazeera journalists injured in Gaza missile strike

CAIRO, Dec 15 (Reuters) – Two Al Djazira journalists, Wael Al-Dahdouh and Samer Abu Daqqa, were injured on Friday after a missile strike fired from a drone in Khan Younes, in the southern Gaza Strip , the television channel reported.

Wael Al-Dahdouh was injured in the hand.

The second journalist, Samer Abu Daqqa, is currently trapped under the rubble of the Khan Younès school where he was during the strike.

Wael Al-Dahdouh, correspondent for the Arab channel in Gaza, is particularly known to viewers in the Middle East since he learned last month, during a live broadcast, that his wife, his son, his daughter and his grandson were killed in an Israeli airstrike.
